Visit Wild Wales is a local guiding company with a passion for adventure and a deep love for the mountains of North Wales. My mission is simple: to share the wild beauty of Snowdonia in a enjoyable, memorable and low impact way.

MEET YOUR GUIDE

I am an outdoor guide, instructor and educator with a deep knowledge of our natural environment, and how to make our interaction with it fun, positive and educational.

I have led expeditions to the Himalayas, the Arctic, the Alps and closer to home across the British Isles, so have an embedded experience of outdoor environments and the opportunities they present. My home is set in the heart of the Welsh mountains, and low impact ventures into the outdoor space here is where my focus now lies.

I qualified as a British Summer Mountain Leader in 2015 and in addition passed the Winter qualification in 2024. I have held a Post Graduate Certificate in Education since 2004 with a specialism in secondary level Geography and beyond that a focus on outdoor learning. My undergraduate MA(Hons) was from Oxford, and I have an MSc in Sustainability from Imperial College, London. All these give me the foundations on which to build a memorable, safe, educational, and exciting experience in the outdoors for you, your friends and/or your family. The focus of which can be entirely tailor made for you.
